(ANSAmed) - MADRID, APRIL 12 - The second international
conference organised by the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO)
focus on the question how let the media cooperate with tourism
in difficult times. The event is organised in collaboration with
the Egyptian Tourism Ministry and CNN, and is held on April 26
and 27 in Marsa Alam, in Egypt. The news is reported by sources
in the UNWTO. It is the second in a series of conferences on the
relation between tourism and the media, after the meeting in
2011 on how to improve information on tourism. The conference in
Marsa Alam will be attended by media representatives worldwide
and members of tourism boards. They will discuss the role of the
sector in the information industry, currently dominated by
economic and social changes. The media will be represented by
Time Magazine, The Huffington Post, The Independent, Deutsche
Welle TV and FvW Mediengruppe.
