MONDAY, JULY 23: BRUSSELS - EU Council of Foreign Affairs; NICOSIA - Informal reunion of EU justice ministers and internal affairs (also July 24); BRUSSELS - EU commissioner for regional affairs, Johannes Hahn, meets Croatian foreign minister, Vesna Pusic; then with foreign ministers of Italy, Greece, Slovenia and Croatia to discuss an Adriatic-Ionic strategy; BRUSSELS - EU ministerial meeting of the eastern partnership with commissioner Ashton and Fule; PODGORICA/BELGRADE - Visit by UN secretary general Ban Ki-Moon; MARZAMENI (CATANIA) - Frontier Film Festival (until July 29), with various films from countries of the Arabic revolts TUESDAY, JULY 24: PRISTINA - Visit by UN secretary general Ban Ki-Moon; ATHENS - Visit by the "Troika" (EU, ECB, IMF); ISTANBUL - Technical meeting among EU and Iran diplomats on Teheran's nuclear program; BRUSSELS - EU council of general affairs; BRUSSELS - Meeting of the EU-Israel association; BRUSSELS - Visit of the Israeli foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman, who will meet EU industry commissioner, Antonio Tajani and the EU commissioner for neighborhood policy, Stefan Fule; BRUSSELS - Visit by the Greek foreign minister, who will meet the EU commissioner for fishing, Maria Damanaki; PARIS - The senate begins discussion on the revision of the 2012 budget (until July 26).

WEDNESDAY, JULY 25: SARAJEVO - Visit of the UN secretary general Ban Ki-Moon; BRUSSELS - The president of the EU Commission, Jose' Manuel Barroso, receives the president of the International Federation of Automobiles (IFA), Jean Todt.

THURSDAY, JULY 26: BRUSSELS - Meeting of EU economic and financial affairs.

FRIDAY, JULY 27: LONDON - The Olympic Games begin (until August 12).

SATURDAY, JULY 28: JERUSALEM - Visit of the U.S. presidential candidate Mitt Romney (until July 30).
