(ANSAmed) - ROME, FEBRUARY 20 - The aim of our diplomatic action
is "to stop violence, to stop the slaughter and to find new
stability so that a major country like Syria can respect the
rights of all". This is according to the Italian Foreign
Minister, Giulio Terzi, who has been speaking at the close of
the "5+5" meeting at Villa Madama. "We support the Arab
League's project," he added, explaining that "we are acting
together with our EU partners".
Friday's meeting in Tunis of the "Friends of Syria", the Foreign Minister said, is a "significant diplomatic initiative". (ANSAmed).
