(ANSAmed) - AMMAN, Aug. 8 - Syrian Prime Minister Riad Hijab,
who defected from the Assad regime, arrived in Jordan only last
night and not Monday morning as members of his entourage had
previously stated.
This was reported to ANSA by sources of rebels' Free Army. In
the last hours, Syrian activists of the southern region of
Daraa, at the border with the Hashemite Kingdom, have published
an amateur video in which Hijab can be clearly seen, dressed in
a black suit, no tie, smiling, together with other people.
The activists defined themselves as 'Coordination Committee
of Nuayma', a village east of Daraa, and affirmed that the
footage, whose date and place of execution could not be
confirmed, was shot shortly before the Hijab's entry in Jordan .
Previously, the spokesman of the ex-premier said that Hijab was
in Jordan and was trying to get to Qatar.(ANSAmed).
