22 June, 18:40

(ANSAmed) - ATHENS, JUNE 22 - A tough day for the newly appointed Greek government: following this morning's admission to hospital of Premier Antonis Samaras with a detached retina, the premier has been joined by newly nominated Finance Minister Vassilis Rapanos, who suffered a fainting fit. ''He felt dizzy and fainted, so he has been admitted to hospital where he has been undergoing tests,'' a source inside Greece's national bank, of which Mr Rapanos is Chair, revealed. Mr Rapanos' swearing-in as Finance Minister had been scheduled for this evening. (ANSAmed).
