(ANSAmed) - BRUSSELS, AUGUST 17 - In the month of June,
international trade in the euro area registered a goods surplus
of 14.9 billion euros, according to data provided by Eurostat,
the statistical office of the European Union. In the same month
of 2011 the surplus had merely reached 0.2 billion.
The June trade surplus followed the goods balance in May (+7.1 billion) and April (+5.2 billion). Seasonally adjusted exports grew 2.4 percent in June compared to the previous month while imports remained stable.(ANSAmed).
